The 11/11 Portal: Why Speaking Your Desires Into Existence Matters

Each year on November 11th, many spiritually minded individuals and intentional creators turn their attention to a powerful energetic moment known as the 11/11 Manifestation Portal. More than just a date on the calendar, 11/11 is often seen as a symbolic gateway, —an alignment of numerology and consciousness that encourages us to focus, speak, and step boldly into our highest desires.
But what makes 11/11 so special? And why does the way we speak our desires matter so much?
The Significance of 11/11
The origins of modern numerology trace back to Pythagoras, the Greek philosopher and mathematician. He believed that numbers were the essence of all existence, and that each number carried a distinct vibration or archetype.
In his system, numbers from 1 to 9 were considered the “building blocks of reality.” However, certain double-digit numbers with repeating digits (like 11, 22, 33) were thought to carry amplified vibrations — these became known as “Master Numbers.”
Though Pythagoras himself didn’t formally use the term “master number,” later numerologists built upon his philosophy, noting that numbers like 11 have a higher octave of spiritual energy compared to their reduced form (1 + 1 = 2). Thus, 11 is both related to 2 (balance, intuition, partnership) and transcends it, representing spiritual illumination and higher awareness.
In numerology, the number 11 is considered a "master number"—a symbol of spiritual insight, intuition, alignment, and awakening. My mother, Yeugenia Kazantseva, who is a coach and numerology expert shared that 11 is considered the highest potential or the most magical number of all and has been considered such for many millenia.
When it appears doubled, as it does on 11/11, many believe it signals a potent energetic portal: a time when our thoughts, words, and intentions can align more powerfully with the reality we are trying to create.
In other words, 11/11 acts like a cosmic amplifier. Whenever I see 11:11 on the clock or around my day, I feel that this is a way that the universe is confirming that wherever I am in that moment I am on the right path. I use it also to make an intentional thought around what I want to achieve or create in my life.

Why Speaking It Matters
Words are not just sounds—we use them to build meaning, direct attention, and shape how we relate to the world. In manifestation practices, but also in coaching, writing your desires, dreams and goals, and even speaking your desires aloud is more than a ritual; it's actually a physical declaration of intent. In my transition from finance to wellness, to starting a business, to becoming a coach, or moving countries, no matter what I decided to do I had to declare that this was what I was doing, whether to myself or others. You have to select your chosen path and stand by it. It’s really the first step to creating the life you want.
Here’s why vocalizing your desires is so powerful:
Clarity becomes reality. When we say what we want out loud, we’re forced to get specific. Vague dreams become clear goals. That clarity sends a strong signal—to our subconscious and to the universe.
Words shape belief. Repeated speech becomes internal truth. When you say "I am worthy of success" or "Love flows into my life easily," you actually train your mind to believe and act accordingly. Our beliefs are ultimately the thougths that create our reality. Hence why affirmations are so important in our day to day life.
Spoken intention invites alignment. Whether you believe in energy, divine timing, or simply the psychology of commitment, voicing your desires puts you in alignment with them. You begin to notice opportunities, shift your behavior, and attract the right conditions.
It’s a form of self-leadership. Speaking your desires, especially during a moment like 11/11, is an act of courage. You’re owning what you want and affirming that you deserve it.
How to Harness the 11/11 Portal
Reflect on what you truly desire. Not just what sounds good, but what feels aligned with your soul’s path. Reflect on what you want to let go as well, your universe can help you lighten the load of your mind when you become clear.
Write it all down. Clarity comes with writing—and it gives your words something to stand on. Stop keeping things in your head it makes you feel anxious, and stressed, writing things down creates focus and distills your thoughts.
Speak it aloud. Whether in a quiet moment alone, with trusted friends, or in a manifestation circle, let your voice carry your intention. If thoughts are powerful, words are like bricks planting the foundation of your desires to come to life.
Visualize and feel it. Don’t just speak it—see it. Feel it. Anchor it in emotion. In many recent books I read, this is the ultimate way to create powerful momentum for your desires. Thoughts and words with no emotion or feeling are just wishes.
Release control. Let go of the “how “ and the control of the path on how it should happen. Trust that your clarity and alignment will open doors you can’t yet see.
Whether or not you believe in portals, astrology, or numerology, one thing remains true: your voice holds power and you should never underestimate that. When and what you speak to yourself matters, speak kindly, lovingly and with intention and watch your life transform. This special date 11/11 is simply a reminder—a call to align your words with your wants, and the language you use both in written and spoken word to craft exactly the life you desire.
